    Julia’s Birthday Party

    The Purnell Museum will celebrate the birthday of its namesake, Julia A Purnell,  on October 26th, 2019. The museum will give away free birthday cake to those who visit. Admission is free for the day.

  • Christmas Tree Lighting in Byrd Park

    Date: December 4, 2019

    Time: 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm

    The Town’s Christmas Tree in Byrd park will be lit on Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 at 5:30. All the holiday decorations in the park will light up during the ceremony. There will be singing, readings, free hot chocolate for children and even a visit from Santa!

    Christmas Parade

    Date: December 9, 2019

    Time: 7:00 am to 8:30 pm

    The Snow Hill Lions Club will sponsor the Town’s Christmas Parade. The parade begins on South Church Street and turns onto W Market Street to the Worcester County Court House. There will be high school marching bands, floats, firetrucks, and a visit from Santa.
